Who is eligible for affordable shared living?
Single independent adult in need of an affordable and safe living environment is eligible.
All residents must be able to live independently, manage their own daily needs within a shared housing setting, and have verifiable income.
We welcome veterans, seniors, re-entry adults, traveling professionals, SSI/SSDI recipients, and working adults with stable income.
Who is eligible to receive help from New Journey Housing?
Our services provide stable housing for a range of people including People above 18 years old, military veterans, elderly adults, women escaping domestic violence, individuals experiencing unstable living conditions.
We offer safe and supportive independent living options with a focus on shared, communal living.
Please complete our pre-assessment form so we can determine the best fit.
Do you require proof of income?
Yes. All applicants must provide verified proof of income prior to approval.
How long can individuals stay in our affordable shared living?
Individuals may remain in our independent living housing as long as they continue to follow house rules, policies, directives and financial obligations.
We house individuals who are seeking longer-term stability; however, we understand that some individuals may need short-term housing, allowing residents to stay until they achieve stability and independence, based on their individual needs and circumstances.

What type of housing does New Journey Housing provide?
New Journey Housing is a independent living facility. We provide affordable shared living home. Offering private and shared rooms with shares common areas such as the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms.
This is an independent shared living environment designed to provide stability in a structured home setting. New Journey Housing is not assisted living. We do not provide medical or personal care services.
Do you offer apartments?
At this time, New Journey Housing primarily offers shared and private room placements within structured homes. We do not typically lease entire houses or individual apartment units.
Our model is designed to provide safe, affordable, and community-based housing for independent adults. If you are looking for a full house or private apartment, we encourage you to contact us to see if we can provide guidance or referrals.
What are the benefits of New Journey Housing?
We provide an all-inclusive housing
No Credit Check – We make it simple and easy for you to move in.
Fully Furnished – Fully furnished bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathrooms.
Wi-Fi – Free wireless internet for all residents.
Safe – We do have security cameras throughout the property for safety and protection.
All inclusive – Your rent includes all utilities.
Onsite Laundry – Onsite washer and dryer offer convenience.

Are pets, service animals, or emotional support animals permitted in your homes?
Because our homes operate as shared living environments, we do not allow pets, service animals, or emotional support animals. This policy is in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all residents.
We understand that this may be difficult for some individuals, and we are happy to provide general guidance or referrals when possible.

Monthly rent starts at $780 and up. Pricing may vary depending on the home’s location, room type (private or shared), and included amenities.
